The 2017 Series Sup Regs and Entryforms for the nationally televised Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship racing are now available as a link at bottom of this page or CLICK HERE TO ENTER ON LINE.

In the off-season, many competitors told us for them to stay racing they needed a more compact series that catered for what the vast majority of privateers can realistically afford to do in these times. We have taken this feedback on board and so this year’s three-event series will be equally spaced throughout the year from the season opening round at NSW’s best circuit SMSP in April, then on to QLD Raceway in July and the series finale at SMSP in November. This new compact series calendar and many other changes for this year will provide for the majority of competitors, whether they be A, B C or D graders, the most cost effective and affordable high profile televised championship series with the least amount of travel and time off of work to compete in while still providing the most track time and number of races per weekend.

The first rounds of the revamped SWANN SUPER SERIES kicks off at SMSP over the weekend of 7-9 April, by the way this is the only modern road race meeting at SMSP until September.

We invite you to check out the updated series regs and see what class best suits you. Here is what you get on track when you enter a SWANN SERIES three-day double-header event, on average, 5 x practice sessions on Friday. A Saturday morning qualifying session, then three races Saturday, followed by three races Sunday.

There are several new classes including 400 Supersport for Ninja 300’s, R3’s, KTM 390’s etc. Also new is SuperTwins 700 which is aimed squarely at Suzuki SV650’s, Kawasaki and Hyosung 650’s and MT07’s etc, along with the other ongoing popular series classes including the ‘race what you brung’ Formula Oz class, Superbike, Supersport, AM-Sport 600 and Pro-Twins / Nakedbikes. Please also check out the changes for Formula Oz and Nakedbike which will see both classes grow.

The series still retains six separately point scored rounds that will for 2017 be spread over three major weekend events with each event being separately point scored double-header rounds.
